we are off the the Bicknell International Film Festival! Theme this year is CHRISTMAS! Obviously i had to attend.

you might find it hard to believe, seeing as it hasn’t really been mentioned, but the cabled cardigan is done! Honestly, the only reason I take so long to finish a sweater is that, with beer being taxed at 86% in utah, i have to save up to buy the celebratory drink!

Man wird vielleicht erstaunt, da ich ihn kaum erwähnt habe, aber der Cabled Cardigan ist fertig!. Leider muss ich langsam stricken um mir meinen feierlichen Umtrunk zu leisten, da Bier im Utah auf 86% besteuert ist.

the past couple weekends, saturdays have been spent working on project and sundays have been spent at the lake, well at a lake. We’re trying to keep dogie happy with one of his favorite things - stick. With his back, he can’t really play stick on land anymore, so the lake it is!

Die letzten zwei Wochenenden wurden Samstags auf Zwischenprojekten und Sonntags an dem See, naja an einem See, verbracht. Wir versuchen Dogie glücklich und gesund zu erhalten. Dazu verbringen wir Stunden mit einer seiner Lieblingsaktivitäten - Zweigwerfen. Da sein Rücken Zweigwerfen auf Land untersagt, ist den See benötigt.

finally. this sunday we escaped the city and got into the hills. The hike was the Timpooneke trail up Mt Timpanogos. I had hiked up Timp from the Aspen Grove trailhead in Provo Canyon before, but never from American Fork Canyon. I’d bore you with the details, but the pictures are better.

Endlich. Am Wochenende haben wir die Stadt entflohen. Die Wanderung war der Timpooneke-wanderweg nach Mt Timpanogos. Ich bin schon auf Timp von dem Provo-Canyon-ausgangspunkt gewandert, aber noch nie von Provo Canyon heraus. Ich könnte Euch mit dem Langtext verlangweilen, aber die Fotos sind mir lieber
