During a break from sculpture installations* last saturday, we stopped to get a coffee next to one of the local Laundromats:

i’d like to sit in these chairs while my laundry spun

Just look at him: “Good Lookin’ Jim”
A little bit older, a little less thin
A song in my mind, a smile on my chin
Happy all the time, no matter where I been.

Jim was a very nice man. I was very proud of myself for being like SOP and just talking to someone i don’t know. It was really worth it.

*yes, that’s correct! SOP’s sculpture is installed! In fact, 8 of the 12 are installed and i have pictures of most of them so far. I’m working on it and will get a flickr collection up and linked to at the the very least soon…
