This log is under a huge cottonwood tree by The Gulch. This is where we nearly got blown away last year, and yet we go back. We saw a huge black widow here this year!

just a little cold

not a lot of digital shots this year (although quite a few more to come). I did shoot 4 rolls of slide film, however and so i hope to scan those after the marathon.

The Marathon. Is Saturday. I am. So nervous.

During a break from sculpture installations* last saturday, we stopped to get a coffee next to one of the local Laundromats:

Jim was a very nice man. I was very proud of myself for being like SOP and just talking to someone i don’t know. It was really worth it.

*yes, that’s correct! SOP’s sculpture is installed! In fact, 8 of the 12 are installed and i have pictures of most of them so far. I’m working on it and will get a flickr collection up and linked to at the the very least soon…
