the bike rack
Thuy and i were contemplating the usability of the bike rack features in last wednesday’s post. “would they be more functional if the were capital letters?” she inquired. i felt sure they were usable, but unsure how. my mission: to inspect the structure of said bike rack and determine how it truly prevented bike theft.
the answer:

form and function.

It certainly looks cool! In NYC nothing prevents bike theft, bike messengers actually uglify their bikes. Hey, won’t it be funny with bikes chained to most of it, so the only readable thing is “ACK”!

I think the oddity of the bike rack might prevent theft by drawing attention to itself. By the way, I love your snow (sniff-sniff).
